The story so far......
We formed in 1996 for a very simple reason:- We'd all been going to rallies for years and some bright spark thought "bloody hell-we can do this,why don't we give it a go?" We must be doing something right -2006 is our 10TH RALLY and we're all very proud of that fact.
So we got together to put on a rally,but that was not to be the only function of the SEWER RATS, by any means. We go on runs,visit other bike clubs, biker friendly pubs and cafes and generally enjoy ourselves. We also try to do as much as possible in the local area for charity and to promote the good name of bikers everwhere.
We hold our meetings at the RED LION on Silsden main street on the 2nd Sunday of every month,at 4pm. When this is over we come downstairs and stay for a couple or three beers-so if you want to come and have the crack with us,feel free. Also there's usually a few of us around most Sundays after 4pm, so get yourself over and pay us a visit.
Indoor parties are our thing too - We usually run about 3 per year at the Sunnybank Social Club in Silsden. We get some mega good bands plus a brilliant rock disco all for £3.50 a head!!
